Roosevelt Elementary School

We love this school. We've only been here for a year, but the school is fantastic. I'm not sure where the "7" comes from. We'd rate this school a 10.

The school is better than I expected when we first came here, and I’m thankful my child thrived and does very well academically thanks to some wonderful teachers. It’s our 3rd year at Roosevelt and I hope this one is better than last year. The teacher was helpful but I didn’t feel he was equal in how he treated each student, and zoom calls seemed like a drag for my child. Hoping for a better year and I hope my new kindergartener has a great experience here too.

The teachers are kind and easy to work with; The students are wonderful. The parents are another story....some are absurdly rude and curiously territorial....completely overreaching themselves. The music teacher is covertly hostile and ridiculous. In the midst of one rehearsal she found herself rather stuck, I provided her with elucidating detailed information on my personal time to help her out. She never did thank me or even acknowledge my efforts. Her horrific manners are quite shocking really.

Wonderful school that is leveraging technology and innovative teaching methods to support the new Common Core framework. Fantastic community support. Wonderful, caring teachers.
