Diablo Vista Middle School

Wonderful experience for my 6th grader so far. DVMS helped make the transition from elementary to middle school seamless with their excellent teachers and helpful orientation program. My child has really thrived and matured so much and loves going to school. Their Soaring Eagles program that promotes volunteerism and leadership is awesome. Their Eagles Plus time is also a great way to offer multiple electives or extra time with their teachers, if needed. The kids are nice and welcoming. Couldn't ask for a better middle school experience for my child!

Pretty good. The best part is the 6th grade ATP teacher is really nice and funny. but, the accelerated 7th grade math teacher is never on task and doesn't do anything.

Very impressive school. My daughter went to a private school for 7th grade and this far surpasses her previous education. Nice, well-rounded kids and great parents. We couldn't be happier!

DVMS is a school that is well-run under the watchful eye of its principal. I have two kids currently in 7th & 8th. They excel academically and are involved in school sports. Some teachers are better than others, obviously, and those who take an avid interest in your child's progress should be lauded., Middle school has been fairly seamless for my kids - socially and academically, which has been a true blessing. I can't single out anything too negative that falls within the category of a typical middle school. Good, solid PTSA and faculty within a community that ensures the kids get a good education.
