A very good academic, overall excellent elementary school.

The teachers at this school are amazing. They go above and beyond their call of duty. They volunteer their own hours for school musicals, math tutoring, ASB clubs and school carnival. The PTA is small but they do their best to make positive family memories for the kids with Book Fair, Back 2 school, red ribbon week events, carnival and much more. There is a Boys and Girl Club located on the campus for after hours care and its free if there are openings. My children have some special needs and have an IEP and I have seen my children vastly improve since we came from an Anaheim school. Thanks to the teachers!

This school is average...there's nothing super amazing or super horrible about it. The teachers are great, there are a couple who are especially inspiring! My child has enjoyed each teacher she's had so far. The principal is a sweet lady and cares about the kids. The office staff are friendly and organized. One of my concerns is the lack of parental involvement. The PTA is very small. Only a few parents are really involved in PTA and those who are, are AMAZING...they really try their best to make up for the lack of help from other parents...they really want the school and the children to succeed. I just sometimes get the feeling like not many people really care about this school...like sometimes it's just as if the people send their kids here to be babysat. A big concern for me is that this school has no gates or fences around the actual school/classes. Anyone can walk onto campus at any time. I have been reassured that it can't and doesn't happen, but I myself have done it and no one questioned me and I have seen others do it as well. I find that extremely worrisome.
