The teachers here are quite friendly and helpful. Although many things need to be fixed. Currently there is no AG Chemistry teacher. We only have a substitute. Many students are failing the class due to poor class management and hardly any learning is actually happening. For example, we were given a packet with pages from the Chemistry textbook. We did not go over it and where just told to read it, do the exercise and there. Now, we'll be having a test soon. Many of us have no idea what to do and when we ask the substitute, he is horrible at explaining. Not only that but he has no experience in classroom management. He usually sits at his desk while on his phone. There also needs to be more councilors. Currently there are only two. And they're hardly ever in the office. When they are, there is usually a long wait. There is also a lack of teachers. Point is, this school needs extreme improvements.

My child has attended this school 4 yrs and I will say that out of all these 4 yrs, I can count on one hand the amount of letters or notifications that this school sent to the parents. Their communication with parents needs a BIG improvement. We end up finding out about events or meetings through the newspaper? This school is just ok. How can parents get involved when the administration doesn't communicate with us?:(

This school has really improved over the last couple of years. Administration enforces rules that are the same for everybody to help make this a better place. The students and parents have more events and activities to participate in than before. The school is on its way to regaining local control.

The teachers really care about their students. There are lots of clubs and athletic teams to join. The staff tries really hard to make this a great place to get a good education.
