This school is as bad or worse than what people say it is. The education is poor, the school itself is really poor, some teachers are pretty cool but some get on your nerves when you get on their bad side. Its a really dangerous place to be if your more of a lone wolf type. Gangs like to pick on quiet kids and make them fight for no reason just to tease them. The security doesnt do anything but just act like their going to do something like everyone ignores them. Overall its not a safe place to be. If you could go to another school,do yourself a favor and dont hesitate into doing it. There are many great schools out there that you can benefit from. This school will probably end up being a juvenil jail.

Although many people make us out to be hellraising kids who dont care about their education, it could not be farther from the truth. Many students here have dreams of reaching a higher state of education and intelligence and they work hard to help their dreams come true. People who have never actually been to locke see us and think about the bad reputation that haunts us. But I, who attend locke, know that it is more than what it is made out to be.I for one am taking multiple ap classes and so are many of my peers. We strive to reach our goals and do our best to steer away from the past that tainted the thought of our school. As for what i think of the teachers, I am happy to have the teachers i do. We have formed special bonds and are more than teachers and students but friends. They push us to do our best and enjoy being with us. After teaching here they feel there is no better place to teach. Not because we need all the help we can get but because they want to be here. They love us and we love them.
