Browns Valley Elementary School

Terrific school, super teachers, wonder principle and great front office!

This is a large school for the area. Each grade had 3 plus classrooms of 26-30 students each. In my opinion there are too many kids per adult/teacher for individual attention and safety. At recess there are maybe 3 adults in the yard watching 150 kids run around. The easy access to outdoor bathrooms and classrooms by any stranger doesn't feel safe to me. Like the other public schools in Napa, drop off and pick up are difficult with parking and drop off zone. The crosswalk is unsafe. The principal mr silva is awesome. He cares. Unfortunately he can only work with so much.

This is an excellent traditional elementary school. The principal and teachers are wonderful at what they do, which is educate your child and ensure that they are learning everything they need to know academically and socially. My sons are both attending and doing really well.

My Son was accepted at this school on open enrollment and attended K-5. We had moved out of the area, a couple of times during his time there and were very lucky to have been able to keep in the same school. I absolutely loved the individual attention that the kids received from the staff of this school and the parent club was the best that I had ever been aware of. I am extremely proud that my son was a Brown's Valley Bear!
