My child absolutely loves her school and as a parent I could not be happier. The emphasis of the school is definitely reading. There is a lot of encouragement and since she started going to Northwood her reading skills have improved tremendously.

We intuitively felt Northwood would be a complementary fit for our daughter who is in grade 5. After being home schooled for 2.5 years we were concerned that she would not receive the progressive education she had previously gained. However, our experience with the friendly & helpful front office staff along with her experience with her teacher, and the friendships she developed with fellow students - has made it all worth while! Cheers to Northwood Elementary for a great community school :-)

some of the teachers are really difficult to talk to or work with, a lot of emphasis on fundraising.
