I am very unsatisfied with this school. I am in honors class since second grade skipped kinder and first grade and have been in honors class since second grade (when the honors class starts) Now I am in fifth grade and I don't recommend you bring your children here. I am a dark blonde with hazel eyes and my cousin both in fifth grade come here. First things first, my cousin and I get insulted because we are light-skinned and light dark blonde hair. Please do us a favor if you want to keep your child safe (yes there is bullying trust me, my best friend left the school!!!) don't bring your child here.

My daughter did her 2nd half of Kinder at Burton with Mrs Duarte. I was very pleased with how my daughter did and look forward to her starting her 1st grade year at Burton.

Good school for a hood school is the best way to describe it. My child finished Kindergarten & his teacher and T.A. were really good with providing feedback/concerns. Teacher did a great job with teaching my child to read. Only concern is that staff assumes you don't speak English even if you do which was frustrating! But the parents are mostly spansish speaking and its understandable, but insulting to those who speak/read English. Good Teachers, safe environment, but kinda ghetto.
