The school is good, but not the best for sure. PE teacher expects from every child to be an athlet even you enrolled your kid there because of the school boundaries. But 30-50 second homework assignment a day for either math or writing. What the children can learn from that? I do not know. And I am just wondering what everyday morning Pledge of allegiance is necessary for...

First year for my 3rd and 4th graders and I am impressed. The academic expectations push students to realize their potential. They have a good balance of body and mind with excellent PE programs like gymnastics. And if you have GATE kids, the programs here are wonderful. From morning courtyard to fundraisers, parents are heavily involved in their child's education.

Green Elementary stands out among the rest. My student is a kindergartener there this year and I could not be more pleased with the teaching staff and admin. There is a strong sense of community and a family-like feel you don't get just anywhere. Every Friday the students dance with Mrs. Aragon, the music teacher. This is my favorite part of the week. Students are excited to start their day and the energy is wonderful, plus the dances are incredible. The music program is unbelievable, I was blown away with the winter performance and hear from others that's to be expected from this incredible program. There is also an extra PE and art class, in addition to music, that's all funded by the PTA. I've been so impressed with the morning courtyard gatherings that stress patriotic songs, character traits, and leadership among the students (raising the flag, leading the pledge, etc.) Overall, I couldn't be happier with Green.

I like the school. My child is in the kindergarten now. The only horrible thing in my opinion is that the principal makes children sit on the ground during the morning line regardless the season and the temperature outside. PLEASE, change this rule!!! Our children won't be able to have their own children in future because students chill their reproductive organs sitting on the ground every morning line.
