Academy of Scientific Exploration (ASE)

This school provides a safe learning environment for each individual to be able to express themselves, and communicates the importance of leadership and respect in each individual.

I've had the privilege of volunteering in this school many times since it opened two years ago and it's been such an honor. From hosting a "Science Day" for middle school girls in the neighborhood to encourage more students to think of a science focused career, to their use of the "Character Counts" program for character developement, to a schoolwide science fair, this school is focused on student success. ASE shares the campus with three other schools, but afterschool activities are shared so students benefit from all the extracurriculars of a large campus with the focus of a school under 500 students.
