Gridley Street Elementary School

Certain teachers like Mr. Cruz a 3rd/4th grade teacher and Mr. Alvarez a long time loyal volunteer whom is also genuine and very dedicated and should be hired soon, as he is an important asset to this school and helps elevate my opinion of Gridley. .On the other hand I am still dissapointed about the fact that even though intervention was suggested for my son he was never actually helped due to a an inexcusable shortage of staff!

This my first year enrolling my a child to public school. I do not like that all the kindergarten classes have more then the state allowed 24 students per class and it is not going to change. This school does not have teachers aids. They do not have enough yard supervision. The office staff is rude. They have new principal which trying to change the culture but all I see is up hill battle. The only positive thing is my son's teacher, but this is her last year. I am looking into other options for my son's future not at this school.

The website and links for this school are NOT user friendly! The office staff is unorganized and unfriendly! I work for an elementary school in Utah, and I have been trying to get records for students that transferred to our school from them for two months. Each time I call they tell me they will research my request, and each time I am told that they can't send me the information that is requested! I have NEVER had this kind of problem with any other school across the country that I have worked with. . . . EVER!

Gridley Elementary is a great elementary. It is a small school where kids can really get to know each other and their teachers. My son attended this school and has many great this to say about this, especially his 4th grade teacher Mr. Sanchez.
