This is a fabulous school and a beloved community. My kids have gone through the program starting at Pre-K, and we couldn't be happier!

We started the pre-k program this year, and so far everything is great. Our primary teacher, paraprofessionals, all other teachers we interact are all very nice and engaging. Even the grade teachers already know my 3 year old as it is a very small school. The principal Ms. Keener, admin professional Marilyn are very nice and welcoming. We believe it is very caring environment. It is priceless to think that our child will be already very comfortable with his environment by the time he starts kindergarten. The only thing I wish the school had was a security guard or a better system to prevent anyone being able to just walk into the school. Most likely it is a public school funding issue.

This school is special. City-wide, public, Montessori. It values personal accountability, and the three b's (be kind, be courteous, and be safe). It has a close-knit, diverse community and strives to encourage a love of learning.

Outstanding! My child absolutely loves this school. The small size, only 160 students, means that everyone knows everyone else by name and kids are part of a very close community. I can see why some people may feel it is not diverse enough, but there are students from all over the world and so the diversity is there, it just may not by obvious by looking at people. Over a dozen languages are spoken in my child’s class of 20 students.
