George Y. Komure Elementary School

So far so good. Good school with good building

Absolutely terrible. My son has attended there since kindergarten year he is now in eighth-grader and I've had nothing but problems with the staff i.e. the maintenance man works with just a wife beater on talking to all little eighth-grade girls very uncomfortable and the principal Jeff podesto has got to be one of the worst people to put in charge that I could ever imagine he's unprofessional he retaliates if the parent complains he is right now trying to retaliate against me for filing a complaint about one of his teachers because she was placed at a grade level to teach or she didn't have her credentials and she was caught my son missed an entire year of knowledge is fifth-grade year all they can do about that was make that teacher resign from that grade level and move back down to the grade level she has credentials for and now my son is about to graduate eighth grade and Jeff Modesto is thinking about not promoting him to graduate and I'm thinking it's just to spite me it's been an ongoing battle and it still is right now I'm contacting the Board of Education his superintendent putting out emails just so my son can graduate with his class The school is a nightmare if you have the opportunity to go somewhere else go somewhere else

Love the teachers at George Komure. Love Mrs. Westover she always goes above and beyond with her students and parents. Mrs. Westover is one of the best teachers!!

I have been going to this school since the 6th grade, the kids may be troublesome at times. But still I love this school, teachers are just GREAT. I would recommend this school to anyone. Where can i get an enrollment form for the school?
