Cascades At Southern Hills

I live in the Cascades it's a beautiful community but it lacks a community feel, very cliquish. We now have a club house with a three and a half foot pool. Wow!! I can't wait to jump in. It's a gated community. The activities are very limited. Look somewhere else and save your--self a lot of head-aches.

Our third year here. Absolutely phenomenal. You live in a quiet rural environment, yet are 45 minutes away from a great airport, an hour from concerts, plays, professional hockey and football. The golf course is breathtaking. Simply one of the best in Florida. The value here is simply amazing.

We discovered after closing on our home in Cascades that the membership to join Southern Hills Plantation and enjoy all the amenities mentioned in this advertisement, was prohibitive for the average family. Cascades does not have a clubhouse, pool or any organized activities of their own. In order to use Southern Hills Plantation facilities you need to pay an initiation fee, and a monthly fee to participate in a social membership. This advertisement for the Cascades, an over 55 community, is misleading for any prospective buyers.

Our home overlooks the golf course and we really enjoy the outdoor living spaces. The clubhouse is within walking distance and is really beautiful. Lots of good old Southern Florida charm here!
