We feel incredibly lucky to have our children at SES. Up until 2019, there was a controversial principal but I never had any negative interactions with her. She seemed extremely present, hands on, and progressive. Now we have a new principal as of last year and he is the absolute best. Beloved by all but also an effective leader and approachable on an individual level, I don’t really know how he does it. The quality of teachers at SES is very high. I can’t speak for learning disabilities but my kids are different personalities and different learners but both have had wonderful experiences here. Lots of parent involvement and a very caring staff. If I had to pick one negative it would be lack of diversity.

We recently moved to Superior and enrolled our child at this school. The transition for her has been very smooth, and the teachers have helped her a lot during this time. I read a lot of comments about the principal, however there has been a recent change and she is no longer with the school. We never had any issues with her, and we don't have any with the current principal.

Our experience was terrible. The principal is one of the worst administrators I have ever interacted with in the 16 years of my kids being in public schools. She has instituted a culture of fear in which the teachers are bullied and forced to lie to parents, the district, and on official paperwork. They are reprimanded if they discipline students. My one child's teacher was actively attending interviews for jobs at other schools during the school year and openly told her class so. I would rather have my kids in almost any other school than Superior Elementary.

The Principal at the school is the driving force behind it going down hill. She is rude, unresponsive, and a hinderance to all. She is rude to parents and activly tries to get rid of anyone (parents, kids and teachers) who does not follow her 'idea' of how things should go. This school is good if you child is a conformer and you want them to learn in a very ridgid setting.
