Why I didn't buy here
We found a few houses for sale a year or so ago in this neighborhood. It looked promising until
we stopped and knocked on a few houses and asked some questions. The residents we talked to said they loved the location, but they have a major problem with their HOA. They said they have their meeting clear across town so most cannot attend, especially seniors. They also said it had gotten out of control, writing up citations left and right for non sensual things - threatening liens against owners if they didn't comply. This was the major factor for us to look elsewhere. As the residents told us this HOA in particular was out of control , I guess with people running them that are clueless about working people's schedules and overboard on how "they" not the house owners want their property landscaped, etc. So from our experience I would not recommend the subdivision. I picked a friendly subdivision to finally move to.
