College Park East

College Park East (CPE) is a suburb of Seal Beach, California. Located just under 4 miles from the coastline, CPE is comprised of 1,659 single family homes, as well as the 60 unit development know as the Old Ranch Town Homes. This friendly community is situated near the Seal Beach Tennis Center, Old Ranch Country Club & gold course, several parks (including Arbor Dog Park) and is part of the highly acclaimed Los Alamitos School District. The neighborhood association for CPE (or CPENA) hosts community events throughout the year which helps promote a sense of community and offers residents an opportunity to get involved. My parents were the original owners of my childhood home; I lived there from 1972-1992. I lived in/experienced a variety of places - none of which had what I’d experienced growing up. After I had my second child in 2005, I decided to return to CPE in an attempt to give my children the kind of experience my friends/neighbors & I were fortunate enough to enjoy. Additionally, home prices (while not ‘cheap’ by any means) for quality-built S&S Homes, are markedly more affordable than homes elsewhere in the Los Al school district. The weather is as ‘perfect” as one might expect in “The O.C.” and activities abound! I’d recommend the CPE lifestyle, particularly for families seeking a safe, friendly & overall amazing experience near the beach
