This is the most outstanding school I ever could've hoped for. My child is so happy here. The community and caring at this school is unparalleled. I have taught for many years and I have never seen anything like it. I have friends with children in other schools that are "jealous" (their word, not mine) of our school climate.

Both my children attended Maple Street School. My son is now at VCMS and my daughter is still at MSS. I love this school and the staff. I love that they are now a community school and the opportunities they give our children. This school goes above and beyond for their students. Sad my daughter only has 2 years left their.

Maple Street School is a wonderful school with excellent teachers, paras and support staff. Two of my three children have come out of Maple St better students and more caring young adults because of their years at Maple St. My youngest is a 4th grader and loves going to school everyday. I would not want my kids to go to any other school in Vernon. What Maple St has taught my children goes far beyond CMT scores. My children have gotten individual help/support in any area that they may have struggled in. The staff is kind, caring and very supportive. The teachers are amazing, they give 100% everyday to all the students. I have been very happy with Maple St School. I am so glad my children are Maple St kids!!!

My son only attended full day kindergarten for one year here. I'll base this review off of that experience. My son had some behavioral problems. His teacher was as supportive as she could be. That being said, the school administration, more specifically, the principal was not supportive at all. Frequently my son was pulled out of class and I called at work to come pick him up. This happened several times and affected my job. When I asked the principal what could be done because the behavior problems kept my son from an education, she replied that my son had reached his educational requirements for the year. So he shouldn't need to go to school? I feel she treated my son and me like we were trash. We moved out of that school district to a school right up the street. The school he attends now have helped him enormously with his behavior problem to the point that it is not a problem anymore. The school has praised my son for his improvements and me for my parental support and involvement. In retrospect, I should have contacted the superintendent for the way we were treated and how my sons problem was handled. Success in school does not only include academics.
