Durbin Crossing has a great offering of amenities. There are two amenity centers--one on the north end of the community and another to the south--which are placed to provide easy access for residents across their expansive community. Both centers have swimming pools as well as tennis and basketball courts. Kids have fun at the north center's splash pool and playground, while adults can get a workout at the south club's fitness room. There are several large parks in Durbin Crossing. Veteran's Memorial Park honors those who served and also hosts a playground and soccer field. Right down the street is a skateboard park as well as the Paw Park, an enclosed dog park where dogs run free and socialize along with their owners. Durbin Crossing Park has lacrosse and multipurpose fields and four baseball fields. Children and adolescents in Durbin Crossing attend highly rated St. John County public schools. Patriot Oaks Academy is kindergarten through 8th grade and is in Durbin Crossing while Creekside High School is just outside the western entrance to the community.

With so many events at Durbin Crossing, it's hard to find an excuse to do nothing. Little league baseball is a regular fixture at the baseball fields. Residents practice yoga and take exercise classes at the amenity centers. Swim classes are available at the pools. There are men's and women's social clubs and a local bike club that schedules rides through Durbin's trails and parks. There's always something going on that will appeal to residents of any age.
