Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School

This school is not professional. It is not a safe and healthy environment for children to attend. Our children are bright and not at all rebellious. They do not have the heart to ever condone to bullying. We're happy to say that our children will not be attending this school next year. It is a disgrace to Phyllis Wheatley's namesake.

The school would improve if the location was not on 18th street and Central Ave.

There is a huge lack of leadership at this school. The principal does not do discipline and this is school where kids need to learn discipline. The parent post of April 2010 hit the nail on the head.

They need to treat every student fairly, not just a sector. Not a good school for children in ese. Most of the teachers are there just for the paycheck and not for the students. The principal is not often at school. Children get bullied and then no one believes them. And a lot of bad things going on. Except for a couple of teachers that are good, the school is a mess and the education they provide too.
