Extremely disappointed. Very sad. Since this is rated as 10/10 I thought this will be a very good school but this has been a nightmare.

Very disappointed. I thought since this was a 10/10 school that it would be excellent, but it is not. The teachers and leadership lack communication and promote discrimination and exclusion. Disappointed.

My son transferred from another K-8 combined magnet school and was able to get him into their upper academy (the middle school section). He was experiencing bullying which was causing him social anxiety and effecting his academics. I am so thankful that I got him into this school. In less than a school year, he made a huge turn around. I was so worried about the academic ratings, but the inclusiveness of the school, the bullying, and the overall atmosphere play a huge role in a child's progress. My son was not doing well and I was really worried. This school is a million times better, they have good ratings in academics, but they also have separated the younger and older students into the lower academy and upper academy which prevents a lot of issues - and they don't have the bullying issues, drug issues, or issues of "well-off" students harassing and humiliating other students. They also offer several programs and activities which promote position relationships and friendships between students instead of just academic competitiveness. I want my son to do well, but I also want him to enjoy his childhood, to feel wanted and welcome, to make friends. This school is the first school that has been able to offer ALL of that.

We moved to Coral Gables and live at 1 block from the school but they said they don't accept new students except students that previously attended the school. The most unfriendly reception ever in the US. I'm so glad they are full.
