This school is wonderful in retrospect for the curriculum and the Cambridge program. There are so many wonderful teachers who make up this school and help the students learn what they need to, to prepare for the future. The Bright Futures program is excellent and the staff here are excellent as well. It is a truly connected place where the students are able to thrive. Then why am I giving this school a two star rating? The students here are not well disciplined. They are allowed to be shrewd and conniving. People at this school are a lot less nice than other schools within the area and take on more elitist roles. Students here have a certain amount of entitlement and feel superior to other students in other schools. My experience at this school left me broken, I felt isolated and suicidal. This place is wonderful with its academics but is horribly lenient with its students.

We are incredibly thankful this school is available for our 4 sons. The curriculum is vigorous with the potential to end in an automated Bright Futures scholarship as well as several college credit hours. We feel it is a safe place for our boys. And we appreciate the small student population. We feel it provides bigger city opportunities while maintaining a small town feel or safety and friendship.

I originally looked at this site when seeking a school for my son. At first I was turned off due to some of the reviews. After being referred to it once again by two of my son's teachers last year I decided to check it out for myself. I am SO glad that we did! The bad reviews may have been accurate from before it became a charter school...but they have nothing to do with the school in it's current configuration. My son is doing well in this school. I love how they have power hour / tutoring time in the middle of the day available for all students!! I love that he's in a school where the majority of the kids there really WANT to be there! And the teachers love that too... My recommendation to you parents that are looking for the right fit for your gifted/high scoring academic child? GO TAKE A TOUR! I was convinced that we were in the right place after our tour with the principal. It's not the school for all kids...but it's right one for my child at this time. We're very grateful...

This school has a hard curriculum but it is worth it. It is a private education for a public price ... strongly recommend for your dedicated student !
