My son went to this school from 2012-2014. It was such a great experience. Some of his teachers really inspired him, especially History teachers, and he had some amazing AP classes. All his AP classes really set him up for success in college. His counselor was also very nice. The only bad class he had was Art- the teacher didn't seem to have much control of the class. We were so relieved to be at Jupiter High after the horrible time at IMS. It seems they finally let the kids have some freedom and respect once they reach high school in Palm Beach County. The school is also beautiful, with new buildings. I feel very lucky that my son went here.

First few years at JHS were great for the most part. This last year has been a bust. This year most of my child's teachers assign copying or busywork during class time while the teacher spends their time on their phones or computers. My child has never even seen the principal while in prior years the principal was a common figure around the school. Additionally, my child has spent four years in an "in-house" academ:, 2 electives per semester consuming their schedule and said child has zero to show for it at the end. I asked the head of the academy: my child is doing college applications and stating on them that child was e in this academy. Will child get something showing they were? Head looks dumbfounded and says, I don't think so. I say, well how will we show we didn't make it up on the applications? Head says, I think maybe they get a cord at graduation. I ask, what color cord? Head says, I don't know. So here it is graduation time. Child has nothing to show they were in the academy. Kind of a joke....

I love this school. Students body is diverse. Good selection of courses.

Upon registering my child I felt as though I was putting the admin working at the front desk out of their way. A couple of my child's teachers don't seem to care much other than get though the day , not putting any extra effort in unless a parent keeps on top of them with emails. They do not have parent teacher conferences. Very laid back or maybe moving here from the North where the teachers are very proficient and on top of things is the difference. Even the students are wishy washy and don't care much so it feels. This school I thought was the choice as the other was Dwyer . Probably should have done more research .
