My children have been at this school for three years. I’ve only encountered a couple issues. One, the teachers could be more communicative and two, my son had a teacher one year who should have retired years ago. She had the audacity to tell my son the other kids didn’t like him because he was annoying. They’re there to build kids up, not tear them down. I’ve volunteered in the classroom weekly for three years and can say that children with reading issues are not ignored but given special attention. My children have IEP’S and their SLP has been wonderful. The ladies in the office come across as stern but they aren’t rude, just busy and no nonsense. You can’t please everyone all the time.. I highly recommend Scott Lake.

This school does not have a quality of being a good school! From poor academics to lack of parent/teacher communication( ignored concern with bullying) this school does not genuinely care for children. Children are not being treated with respect. One of the teachers in 1st grade in my opinion should not be allowed working with kids. Unprofessional, unqualified, negative in her comments towards children and worst of all damaging to children's spirit.

This school is amazing! I went there for 6 years and I loved it. There was not a single problem. Even being in my last year of middle school I still miss it so much. I would definitely recommend anyone going to this school.

I just moved here to lakeland Florida. at first my son was feeling comfortable but then because he has problems with his reading. I feel like they pushed him aside instead of helping & teaching him I'm on the fence about this school.
