Issues with teachers are not addressed. I have a child that has a mental illness that inhibits her focus and there is no leniency, all they care about getting work done on time otherwise you get half credit and no credit, especially the biology teacher, even though the work is done. Dont plan on talking to the counselor or the deans, they work on defending the teacher and not looking for a solution to the processes or systems. They are not interested in ensuring if the student is learning vs going through the routine of giving homework, which is too much, plan on yoir student spending 3-4 hrs on homework everyday. Also, to be called a digital school is ridiculous, there is still work done on paper and then you have to take a picture to submit, that mus be the digital piece. There is no standardization from teacher to teacher ot how they use the systems that the students use. There has been no adaptation to the Covid crisis the school treats the students as if everything is still the same as prior to Covid.

Fantastic. My child has excelled since we moved here. I saw some of the other reviews and feel like these are parents who have no place to lash out except on a key board. This is a fantastic school.

Miserable. The few good guidance counselors they had have left. The good teachers are overworked and poorly paid. Many other teachers are barely competent and do not care about teaching. For them it's just a paycheck until they can find something else. How this school is considered A rated in Orange County says more about OCPS than anything about the quality of this school (or lack thereof). It is overcrowded, understaffed, and wholly ineffective.

There are a lot of hard working compassionate teachers and staff at this school. Unfortunately the leadership is substandard and borderline incompetent. The principal is not respected by the staff, she is lazy and is perceived as bully.
