First grade teacher not very flexible and does not create a boy friendly classroom. Rude and authoritative when suggestions made. Does not appear to want to work with the parent and student for the best interest of the child. Appears to get easily angered when child speaks. Focussed on putting negative posts on class Dojo as a means of punishment instead of focusing on how to better teach and create an atmosphere of eagerness to learn.

The school was a little overcrowded but thanks to the new just opened SunBlaze elementary close by just absorbed a big parcel of students leaving Northlake Park as always, just the best in Orlando. And the good thing is, as LakeNona grows and since this is a master plan, they have already 3 "A" rated elementary schools: moss park elementary, SunBlaze elementary and North Lake Park, and they are already planning the newest addition to the community, that probably will be called the LakeNona Elementary close to Laureate Park and maybe within the Eagle Creek neighborhood. We have our four kids enrolled here and we love the staff and the school structure just much better than any other in Orlando at all, and proud of being part of the history writing since lakenona is already the smartest community in central florida already and we will make any effort to keep up the standards.
