Strong D+ not so fabulous unless you are writing checks

They give sweets to the kids if they behave well or work well in class. Right before lunch too. OMG which century is this?No sense of community: you never get to see your child's teacher, whether in the morning or at the end of the school day. You maybe get to see the classroom twice a year, that's it, who knows what's going on in there. Parents don't get to know each other because there is no place to share or say hello in the morning. It's all about work work work, every minute they can shave off recess or lunch they do, the kids are 5-8 and they spend their day indoors, what's up people?You got all these scientific studies showing kids are healthier and learn more and perform better when they have more recess time and their brains are actually properly irrigated! Instead of just sitting all day... I just don't get it.

Overall very good. Push the kids, which is great, but a little too grade and test-obsessed, most probably because of the way the County and the State work. This funding and rating system makes is too tough on the kids. Too bad they don’t follow the guidelines and recommendations all research shows regarding the benefits of recess and free play, especially in Elementary School.

My experience at this school is extremely excellent!
