Top notch with college level courses if you qualify.

This school is beyond a let down. I don't even know where to start. The whole AGA group and PGA group being completely segregated is horrible to do to any child. Talk about labeling them right off the bat. Than there's the teachers who are just in a bad mood at school and blame your child's behavior ,when they have never had a behavioral issue k-6. The school gives you a feeling of a large cold institution, and overpopulated with no individual attention to the kids. I should of trusted my gut instincts the first day well now my child no longer go there.

SMS has exceeded my daughter's expectations. Mine too! Absolutely love this school. Any student who wants to achieve... aspires for greatness in all aspects of their life, is given all they need here. I give SMS an 11 in my rating system.

I just finished 7th grade in the PGA Gifted program on the Blue Team and I love it! This is my favorite school by far and it is a lot easier because in the gifted programs you stay with the same teachers all three years. Sixth grade was challenging because I wasn't ready for the projects but I'm used to them now. It took a while to get used to how they grade their work but I love this school. My teachers are amazing! They are very good at preparing students for high school according to the high schoolers that come and visit. I've never had a problem with anyone here. All the teachers are so nice and I've made many friends here. I'm not part of the "in crowd" and they have those cliques at every school but if you don't pay any attention to them it's easy to have a good middle school expierience. There is something for everyone here. I wish I didn't have to go to high school at the end of the year. With the eighth and seventh grades in the program with you it's easier to know what the teachers expect. I can't believe I have to leave! If I could I would take my teachers with me.
