We had a wonderful year here...Principle is very hands on.

Super school. From the Principal to the Janitor all are treated with respect and helpfulness. Students are always welcomed with Smiles.

My daughter was in 1st grade here 3 school years ago. It was the last time her mother was willing to put her in public school. We had no real problems until one day we saw a scribbled not in her backpack that said she had an incident...which turned out being my daughter being coerced by a boy into kissing another boy's genitals. After some calming down, I called the school to ask what was being done...and the principal was completely unaware of the act. I'll end the story here, the point is there was no serious consideration to the harm these kids may have caused each other. That summer we were informed that the school got an F from the state so we were allowed to move. First day of school the county was a complete mess and we were one of many un-registered kids at her new school. We were told to go back to 74th street for just the rest of the week. The admins wouldn't open the front door! They were watching us knock on the glass door and just...choosing not to open it! Once I started knocking a tad more convincingly, they opened and rudely told us "her class is back there". Good luck with the admins at this consistent "F" school.
