I would have given this school a higher rating except for one reason and one reason only. My daughter was horrified to hear her teach try to force political beliefs down her throat! A teacher that my husband and myself liked her 6th grade (2015) year and by her 8th grade year (2018), we had her transferred out of the class. Saying UNARMED black men deserved to be shot and killed by police, sharing the disgust for President Obama and love for trump, was NOT RIGHT and very uncomfortable for our daughter. We did bring this up to higher ups, but of course nothing was done about it.We had just moved to the area in 2015 and was not aware of certain things and people etc. here.We are a family that believes in ones right of political choices etc., but just like a job, it is NOT the teachers job to discuss certain aspects of their political beliefs to kids making them feel like they are beneath or because of the color of their skin, they are less than. Needless to say, I did NOT allow my daughter to attend ZHS, rather opted for an out of zone variance for my her (which was denied at first, but I fought it until it was approved).Overall, her experience as a student was ok for her being in a new area and making new friends etc. She was well rounded in the school and even with the one hiccup, I was very pleased with her experience for the most part.

The principal believes that teamwork is everybody doing exactly what she says. She does not want your input, and will tell you that up front. It is her way, or the highway. I took the latter, and in the words of the great poet, "that has made all the difference."

-10 horrifyingly frightening, the disappearance of staff as well. What this has done to my family, I will make sure people know how it really is. Thank you Steward B.M.S

I'm currently a senior at ZHS and still remember going to this school 4-6 years ago. Stewart looks nice(buildings and such), but the administration or guidance sucked. In some cases when bullying accured here they didn't do shit regardless of what they said near the beginning of the school years. Also children at RBSMS were judgmental to the extreme, more than people are at ZHS, but I guess that's are society anyways regardless of where you are or what school you go to. I don't think I like the guidance counselor I had as much for quite a few reasons. She liked me though lol At this school I did enjoy some parts of gym class and ag though.
