Lovely and friendly community. The residents here are generally laid back and unhurried. There are many choices for activities for all levels. The streets have designated golf cart paths and are uncrowded. I am a Real Estate Broker and this was my first choice over any of The Villages which is right down the road. It's easy to access their restaurants, shops, and town squares and return to the peace offered here at Stonecrest.
We really enjoy Stonecrest because it is smaller and more neighborly feeling than the larger communities but we're still so close to the Villages that we can take our golf cart over to all the shops and restaurants there. It's the best of both worlds!
The homes here are a great value and are well built. We purchased our place about a year ago and have done a few updated like adding hardwood floors, new countertops, had the cabinetry painted and bought some new furniture. It's just like new now and we love it!
I have lived in this community for six years. I love this community! Its smaller than the Villages. More easier to get around. Two golf cart remote gates leading straight to Walmart. Very convenient, Many amenities.More house for the money. Purchase a golf cart and you can go to a lot of places. Lowes, Aldis, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Cracker Barrell, Bealls.
Great place to live with nice homes that are well kept with larger piece of property then in some other places. 3 outdoor pools, 1 indoor, gym, community center all included plus a golf course. Convenient to so many things.
