Burgess-Peterson Elementary School

We are incredibly proud to live in the BPA district and to send our kindergartner to an International Baccalaureate school! BPA has a warm and caring atmosphere, and the kids seem to thrive. The teachers are super effective, and I have seen my daughter blossom this year under her teacher's care. The IB curriculum adds another layer of development on top of sheer academics -- the children learn and practice being caring citizens, inquisitive learners and dealing with tough emotions in a safe atmosphere. I can't say enough good things about the principal, David White, or the teachers and staff that make this school one of the best in the city of Atlanta.

We rate this school as an overall 10! We wish we could stay here until 12th grade. The warm inclusive environment combined with innovative lessons daily has spoiled us. Thank you BPA! We are forever grateful!

Our experience has been excellent. I regularly recommend it to my neighbors with young children. We feel so grateful to have landed in a school with such a warm, wise environment. I hope other kiddos in Atlanta have this experience, too.

My child has been there since pre-k and has loved it. Every teacher has been supportive and attentive to the needs of my child and all students. Principal White always makes himself available to address any and all issues.
