Pleasantdale Elementary School

Over the years the teaching and after school programs and cultural programs have declined. The principal is awesome. She is doing her best with what she was given. But there are no families moving in the neighborhiid with kids because no one wants to send their kids here. We are finally movi g out of the district to find better schools.

I wrote a long nice review but then I was unable to submit it. Basically what I said was to this effect. Parents need to be more aggressive in their child school functions and Parent Teacher meetings. Parents need to be more aware of the areas that his or child is suffering in to actually get help. Their are many programs at this school that will help your child grow and learn. My child excels pass the state standards in almost every category. Yes she is smart but she works hard, my wife and I stay in touch with her teachers and we almost talk everyday. Teachers can only do so much its up to us parents to re-enforce what the teachers teach so our kids can get a better understanding. I am not an advocate for common core but I understand what it is trying to achieve. Parents become more involved point blank period. If you feel like the school doe not care about the students.. then make them care.. be on their butts about everything and I promise your child will success here.

well a couple of years back i used to go to this school and it was not one of the best schools you can ever imagine. the staff are kind of weird and stuff the teachers aren't really helpful and the school food is terrible, also the students over there are very unkind and disrespectful so i recommend your child not to go to this school trust me.
