Sims Elementary School

Awesome....my son went to sims last year and this year.he is doing great loves his teachers and staff.

I have two children that attend this school and one that will begin next year. We have been blessed that both our children each year have been given wonderful teachers. They go over and beyond what is required to make sure each student meet their educational needs. I would love to see more parent involvement. Parents can't rely on schools to do it on their own. The more parents help the better our schools will be.

I have two children that attend this school one in the first grade and the other in the fourth grade. We transferred them to Sims last year from another school in Rockdale County. The school that they previously attended ratings are much higher, however as a parent I feel this school better suits my children. The teachers are great! We do have a new Principal that we have not become familiar with, but plan to in the future. Allison Barbour was the principal last year and she was GREAT! I love the AVID program.I appreciate the hard work of all the staff at Sims.

My son graduated from Sims 2yrs ago. This school has made me love Rockdale Cty schools. Although we relocated to AtlantA and I had to take him out of Rockdale cty but we are moving back and I hope Memorial Middle School give us the same results. Mr. Randolph is great with his students and Mr. Bragsdale (hope i spelled it right) worked one on one with my son and helped him improve his behavior problem...We love this school!!! All of the teachers are great!!!
