Daves Creek Elementary School

Not Happy. Thinking of moving my kid to another school.

The teachers are passionate and committed to doing their very best. They truly care about helping each child reach his or her own potential.

I have had 2 children go through Daves Creek Elementary over the last 10 years. It is a fantastic school with wonderful, dedicated teachers. My children have excelled in the classroom and have been molded into unique, intelligent, confident young adults. The administration and staff have always been outstanding to both myself and my children. Willing to help with anything we ever need. Each year gets better and better!

It has been a very long and frustrating school year for our child and us as parents. We had a horrible experience with the teacher our 3rd grader was assigned to. As parents we believe in disciplining and wanting kids to do the best they can in school. However, this teacher has gone above and beyond to be "strict", nitpicking on every little mishap on a day to day basis, being very defensive and arrogant when we asked her any questions regarding incidents occurred in school. We requested to switch to a different teacher a couple times during the school year,but our request got turned down and dismissed by the administration every time. It seems to us that the quality of DCES has gone down hill in the last couple of years. The teachers and administration show no interest to hear what we, as parents, say about our child. I would look at other choices before deciding to send your child to this school!
