Bad experience and feel that school does not address the multitude of discipline problems it has.

This is my son's first year at NMES. We transferred from a private school. I did not know what to expect at the beginning but as the school year has progressed my expectations have been exceeded! He has transitioned beautifully. The leadership and teachers are very passionate about helping the students succeed. I look forward to having my other son start kindergarten there next semester.

Both of my children went to this school. Teachers and staff were great. I never had any complaints or issues. Safe learning environment and great all around very organize school.

From the first month with this school I had issues. My child was moved from a class with no logical explanation. When asked to have him placed back in the previous class that request was ignored. The new teacher constantly picked on my child, the first couple of months his behavior was constantly on bad. My child never had that experience with the previous teacher. Principal Stanley and Rucker were of no help and did not help the situation. My childs 1st grade teacher was unpleasant and often times had an attitude when I spoke with her concerning my child. She did the bare minimum and that is unacceptable. I definitely would not recommend this school to anyone. The last straw that broke the camels back was when I witnessed the front office staff give a student a pack of crackers because they didn't have enough money for breakfast!! A pack of crackers!! Wow!! The animals at the zoo get fed better.
