Northview High School

I am at my second year of Northview and have decided to switch schools. The students at this school only care about grades and getting into Ivy League schools. I have even seen kids cry over getting a 98! The students pressure their peers to also score that high, or else they are seen as stupid. The teachers don't do anything to stop this and often encourage it. the school doesn't really care about sports and really only cares about maintaining the image of an overachieving, super-smart high school! Please do not send your children here!

My experience made me want to drop out of high school and I was very close to. Despite the massive untreated anxiety and depression in the area the school made no effort to assist those with mental illness

Prepared me well for academic rigor of college!

horrible administration, especially the Downey the principal. He doesnt hire good teachers. School has definitely gone down since Downey became principal. Some parts of the school is very dirty as well. Horrible experience.
