This has been a horrible introduction to Fulton County Schools. The administration is not responsive. Teachers don't seem to be empowered to speak up.

My son went to this school last year for kindergarten. His teacher Mrs. Stubbs –Carter and para Mrs. McClain were wonderful. Although, he was reading above grade level going in, they made sure he did not lose his head start. There are issues with this school, as with any school, but they have potential. They are trying their best to instill confidence in the kids, which is just as important as education. Although, my son will not attend the school next year, I hope they continue to try to improve.

This is the worst school ever!!!!! . The staff is very unorganized and unprofessional . The principal is included. I have no idea how he became the principal . There is also a lot of bullying going in with no resolutions. The administration staff at the front desk is the only staff team that should receive recognition . They show a willingness to help at all times. I am so happy that I transferred my child out of this school after attending for only 4 months . Attending this school was such a horrible experience for my child .

My daughter attends Renaissance ES and I have nothing but good things to say about them. She came from Drew Charter School out of Atlanta Public Schools and I was afraid that Renaissance wouldn't deliver the same level of education as she received at Drew. I have to say that I was presently surprised and am very happy with my decision to put her there. My dislike has nothing to do with the school per say, it's some of the students. I know that we can't control who moves where but she's having to deal with a lot of things that she wouldn't have had to deal with ad Drew...the mean girls thing, fights and just completely disrespectful. behavior. She's learning to deal with it but I'd rather she didn't!! Overall, Renaissance ES is a great public school and the teachers, administrators and staff are phenomenal!!
