Loganville Middle School

My daughter is in the gifted pod, and I dislike how they keep all the kids in their own little bubble--at lunch, in the nonacademic classes--they basically only hang out with their academic equals. How does this prepare them for the real world? Also, the administration does not recognize that many, if not most, of the parents work, which seems archaic. My daughter has been singled out for a student of the month award, for which the parents were given 24 hours to arrange time off work so they could attend a special breakfast (neither my husband nor I were able to arrange for time off work with such short notice, and we were extremely disappointed that the administration did not take parents' work schedules into consideration. Evidently only stay-at-home parents are welcome.) My daughter also only received an invitation to the 8th grade awards night THE DAY OF the ceremony. Seriously? In addition, the staff in the front office has never been friendly the handful of times I have had to go into the office or had to call the office. They rudely look you up and down and are curt in their speech, both in person and on the phone. Overall, I have a poor opinion of this school.

At 1st I like the school but when u notice for the pass year that your child is being picked on then I have a problem. glad this was his last year there... i hate this school the kids try and they still get unnoticed. only the ones who the teacher favor .. the school on the whole I feel is racisum .

I love everything about Loganville schools. From the academics to the athletics. Top Tier!

This school is fantastic. Car rider is so safe a smooth, the staff is always friendly. Every teacher my daughter has had has always communicated with me. The administration answer emails within a few hours and truly want to work for you and your student. We loved LMS. The best school and staff in Walton County
