My daughter was bullied at school and slap in the face by a boy. I spoke with the principal who said he was disciplined but doesn't consider it bullying "since there's no written record of repeat bullying". A girl (black) called my daughter (white) the "n" word , when my daughter told the teacher, her response was "I don't know why she would call you that".... and nothing was done. So apparently it's ok to say that word in her class .

don't know how to put this in better ways. I know some parents are satisfied and it's maybe they had good hr teachers or have average background... I do not know but I hope it was the same for my kid too.My kid ended up homeschooling from the last semester of 4th grade because we've had bad experiences through years. There were several events that were caused by some students and disheartening response from some teachers and the principal for us to decide taking my kid out of this school. My kid's belongings had been stolen by someone at school (lunch boxes, stationary, and emergency mobile phone) so she started carrying everything in her backpack at school (very heavy and we ended up buying 3 backpacks through a year because of the wear and tire. And then we got locks for her 3rd backpack because her stationery was once again stolen -she did not take it to the rest room... oh and her stationary were nothing fancy. We got them at Walmart and cheapest we can get at the time), her test sheets were thrown into trash cans from teacher's desk sometimes (sometimes her teacher find it in there and pick it up and sometimes my kid find it and pick it up to return to her tea her's desk), she was alone most of the time and classmates was calling her "demon child" because we don't go to church and she is not religious. My kid was also called thief in front of her classmates from an assistant teacher once when her friend "accidentally" put her library book in her book box. This assistant teacher did not apologize after it became clear that she had nothing to do with. After that, my kid stopped trusting teachers at all. She kept being quiet about all the things I've mentioned in the above until one day I demanded her to tell me the truth because she was acting very strange. Her teacher tried to stop all of them when we asked to find out what's happening... except "items have been missing" problems. And yet some kids kept calling her demon child and she'll go to hell even after their teacher talked about it.This school could be better if the misbehaving kids get better control and receive better moral educations at home.

Wow, I know that not all students and/or parents will be happy here because no school can have everyone like it. But I will tell you this, I absolutely love this school. Dr. D'nardo is an amazing woman/principle. She expects her children to be the best and she helps them along the way. Great job! Now as for the teachers, I haven't met one that wasn't wonderful yet! I see so much love at this school. The PTO rocks at this school. Always involved. And always doing something to show appreciation of some sort. And just to let who ever reads this review know that I am not even in the zone for this school but it is such a good school I went to the Board of Education to get permission for my daughter to attend this school. Love everything about it and
