The teachers have helped us through any learning, peer issues that have come our way. the teachers send answer sheets to homework to help parents teach/grade it. staff is amazing. we relocated to port wentworth just for this school and are staying here through 8th grade.

As a parent who has first hand experience inside the school, I can say that it is a wonderful place to send your child. Our administration truly loves and cares for the sweet babies at Rice Creek, and the teachers all enjoy their job (which makes it a better environment for the students)! It upsets me to see that parents are unhappy with the school, because they are trying very hard to make sure it is the best school in Chatham County (which I believe it IS!). If you every have a concern or complaint, PLEASE make sure that teachers are informed! They will do their very best to make sure the situation is handled. They all love the students as if they are their own, and they take the job of teaching the children very seriously.

If you want a school where your child's school supplies and lunch are stolen at least once a month then this school is for you! Where swearing is pretty common among the students and the teachers don't do anything to stop it. The principal is still driving a school bus because no one wants to drive these kids around so he can't do his job like he is supposed to. Oh, and he's terrible with follow up so don't waste your time asking for help on anything. The VP should be moved to take charge since she has to do his job. Don't worry about those pesky state exams. More than likely they won't be ready for them anyways. I mean when children won't stop talking, they just stop teaching so learning goes down hill. Nothing like being told you are two months behind in this class so do the best you can! I am so disappointed with this school, my child is being moved to private next year. Sorry I kept my child here as long as I did. Run away fast or just don't do it.
