Blandford Elementary School

This is the worst experience with a school that I have ever had. I have 4 children ranging from age 25 to 6. My daughter actually went there before the new principal and vice principal were there and it was great! My son started kindergarten there last year, 2017. Problems started immediately. I asked the teacher for a meeting (thinking the principal or vice would be there, since I was told they would be) they were TOO busy to attend. Then, my son gets SUSPENDED (by the vice principal, Mrs. Newkirk) for refusing to get on the bus. I find out that my son is being bullied by a student and being treated ugly by one of the teachers that walk him to the bus. Maybe that's why he's acting out?! I tried to change schools within the district and I got the assistant superintendent involved. Mr. Ford did nothing!! He denied the request!! Absolutely nothing but take the vice principals side.I'm not sure if they are related or just how they know each other, but it was very clear that I was getting no where in this situation. My son has been singled out the rest of the year. He threw up EVERY SINGLE DAY BEFORE SCHOOL!! In fact, I watched one of the teachers (NOT HIS) watch ONLY my son like a hawk at awards and got onto ONLY him several times. I will be contacting that teacher as well. I will say that his teachers have tried and been very helpful and great. The best that they could. It's the principal, vice principal, and assistant superintendent that have issues. If we were not moving out of state, there is NO WAY I would let my children attend an effingham district school after this experience.

Best school in Georgia, Teachers careally about their students

My kids start attending Blandford Elementary in Rincon Ga since 2006, the teacher back them they where very nice and friendly still I can say is few still nice but others don't respect parents and children,the way to spoke and say the things to me and others parents is not right and I don't think for been a school where I think my kids shout learn good manners well this is not a place where they need to be ...I don't considerate this behavior from them is appropriate and I wish everything can change in there for the best of our children..
