Annistown Elementary School

Kindergarten was an absolute joy, however I pulled my daughter out right at the end of the first semester, because of bullying.

Seems like a nice school however they do not offer a Spanish classes like most Gwinnett County schools. Most schools offer a Spanish class a couple times a week (like an elective or special) however, Annistown has a lottery program for a certain amount of students. They basically teacher half of the day in English and the second half of the day in Spanish. What happens if my child misses something when being taught in Spanish half the day? I find the curriculum baffling compared to other Gwinnett County schools.

Good. I special like the Dual Language Program they have. They have really good teachers and Principal. The school is a Title one school and 80% of the kids have paid lunches. They work hard with extra-curricular activities to help them but all students can attend the workshops. The only thing the school needs is more Parent Involvement.
