My grandchildren began school here last year. The staff from Miss Terry on down to our wonderful secretary was awesome! They are caring people. The teachers were great and let me in on all that was going on with the children. My granddaughter reads so well and going into 1st this year. My grandson who is ADHD was able to comprehend math better by the end of the year. I just love these people! The lunches were good too I might add!

My children have been at Temple Elementary for a couple of years now. My first impression of the school was not great, but I quickly realized I was judging it based on the exterior. It is an older school, but inside is very clean, bright and cheerful. Our experience with the teachers, office staff and administrators has been great. The only area of complaint I have is the cafeteria and school food. I am horrified what they are feeding these kids. I have seen a lunch consist of pancakes (carb), hashbrowns (carb), biscuit (carb), orange juice and a gogurt sleeve. And we wonder why childhood obesity is on the rise? I wonder if the food is so junky because we are in a lower socioeconomic area? Regardless, something drastic needs to be done about the school lunches. Please provide better for our children! Overall, a great school.
