Nice neighborhood, not so nice HOA

John S
The neighborhood itself is beautiful. The HOA here, like most, is an absolute Regime. Everyone is the enemy if they aren't a part of it. They target renters and anyone who is not a suburban white family. They post in their neighborhood facebook page that "black kids with backpacks are roaming the streets." They have rules in their CC&Rs that aren't even legal, such as "no street parking," even though the streets of GlenGrove aren't private, making that rule unenforceable, or "no political campaign signs," but not only that, they pick and choose who they want to target for it. The president of the HOA has cars parked in front of her house almost daily. Their HOA members will drive slowly by houses inspecting for things to try to fine people for, and take pictures of random things that have nothing to do with it. They're incredibly unhelpful when it comes to any issues you may have, and they will do everything in their power to try to get you to move out of their precious white suburban neighborhood if you don't fit their mold.
