Gulf Harbors Woodlands

We looked long and hard around Florida before we settled on this neighborhood. I didn't want to live in a concrete jungle with canals that were on top of each other. I wanted to be able to quickly boat into open water and still have access to areas that were fun to Kayak in. This neighborhood fit the bill. While located off Route 19 (which is ugly) we don't hear the noise and we are within walking distance of Publix, TJ Maxx and other stores or a one minute car ride. This neighborhood is in an HOA but the fees are under 800 per year. The Clubhouse is small, but the pool is large and has a beautiful water view. Two well maintained Tennis Courts also. You also have the option to join the private beach located at the end of the next Gulf Harbors-next door. The beach is well maintained and really a great deal for less than 150 a year. Since the neighborhood is mostly built the "deed" restrictions basically just require you don't fill your front yard with your wealth and other things that aren't too hard to follow. Very happy we moved here and after a year still very happy.
