I love my community.
I'd buy in this community again if I had it to do over. Our HOA has a maintenance company who is out all the time cleaning the common areas, our gardeners are there nearly everyday, trash is hauled out 2-3 times a week, our pool is sparkly and refreshing I just wish we had solar heating. We have security that patrols 24/7-365. I've never seen trash except for the occasional trash dumped by lazy people in the parking & common area. I've never heard excessive dogs barking nor seen a stray domestic animal.
Pretty to look at but Worst HOA to deal with EVER
Heather Ridge is a nice little place but if I would have known better about the HOA being so unfair and inflexible then I definitely would have thought twice. The HOA here is something else! I’m a current resident and they make the most Ridiculous rules when it comes to parking. If you are a family of more than two cars then I STRONGLY suggest you think twice about living her. HOA Management is terrible! They will NOT work with the community at all for parking. Yes, they do have reserved parking but you only get that spot by playing a raffle/lottery game in order to get that spot. And it’s temporary! If you miss out, you need to park your car across the street in a residential area. Especially knowing when other parking spots are empty, meaning the visitors spots.
Think of how annoying that is when it’s raining or you had a long day of hard work. On top of that the gates are mostly broken half of the time. And if you have a personal problem with your condo you will need more then just a prayer for HOA manager to approve work to be done. It’s like pulling teeth out. Keep in mind you pay over $300 monthly for them NOT to do anything. And don’t let the security house fool you, they never have security on sight. I highly suggest you think twice before moving here. WORST HOA Management!
