Hometown

Hometown is a neighborhood in Aurora bordered by Phillips Park Zoo and the Oakhurst Forest Preserve. Hometown is mostly residential, but residents here have access to the many amenities located around Aurora, including nearby parks and greenspace, the Phillips Park Aquatic Center, Paramount Theatre, and the many dining, entertainment and shopping options in downtown Aurora. Allen Elementary School, Edna M. Rollins School, and East Aurora High School are located in Hometown, and the downtown Aurora Transportation Center, about three miles from the community, provides direct rail transport into Chicago.
