There is no shortage of recreational amenities within Hometown Kyle. The community park features two playground areas and a covered pavilion where residents can host picnics with family or friends. The park is also equipped with one half and one full basketball court, as well as beautiful walking trails. Although there are no pools or clubhouses within its borders, Hometown Kyle is adjacent to the City of Kyle Community Pool and sports field. Thanks to the homeowners’ association, the pool is free of charge for Hometown Kyle residents to use when it’s open to the public. Parents in Hometown Kyle will love being close to several public schools served by the Hays Consolidated Independent School District (Hays CISD). Children can attend Kyle Elementary School, Wallace Middle School, or Lehman High School with convenient school bus options provided by the Hays CISD Transportation Center. Additionally, there are a few private schools in the area, as well as post-secondary options such as Austin Community College.
