already twice this year my child has been bullied or harassed by children being bussed in from robbins and the school has done relatively nothing. bad element growing at this school. if you have the choice send your children elsewhere.

I have four kids at kolmar, and moved from oak forests school district and Love kolmar. My 7th and 8th grader and straight A students and my 3Rd and 5the grader are not far behind them. The staff is 100% focused and kids and contact t is wonderful! They offer many sports programs, and after school clubs, choir ect. U couldn't ask for a better education for my children.

Everyone is mean, and every single person there is disrespectful. I feel like I'm the only nice 7th grader at kolmar. This is the worst middle school ever. Everyone gets away with cussing and bullying. The teachers don't help you at all. That is why my daughter has to go to tutoring. Even at tutoring she doesn't get help. Oak forest schools are way better.

4 of my children have attended this school so I've met a variety of teachers. Some of the teachers play inappropriate music in class, and also play games on their phones while ignoring the children that need extra help. The librarian, Melissa Hardy, bullies children and she is still the librarian. Just one example of her bullying, last year my daughter was looking at a book. She put it back in the wrong spot so the librarian told her that if she couldn't find the spot she put the book in she would tell the principle my daughter was a thief! My daughter came home afraid and in tears. There are a few great teachers at Kolmar but you better do your research before you register your child. I did notice that the teachers they choose to teach the advanced children are Excellent. Besides that ... I started homeschooling my 4th and 6th grader this year, and they're doing better than they ever did at Kolmar.
